Purpose of Processing
Images captured by the video surveillance system are processed for the purpose of safeguarding the security of people, property, and the facilities of the establishment.
Legal Basis
The processing is carried out for video surveillance purposes in accordance with Article 22 of Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights. The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) classifies this system within the legal regime applicable to video-monitored public establishments.
Categories of Data Processed
Images of persons accessing or moving through the common areas and monitored corridors.
Recipients
Where appropriate, images may be disclosed to the State Security Forces and Bodies, Courts and Tribunals, or other competent authorities.
Retention Period
Images will be retained for a maximum period of one month, unless they must be kept to provide evidence of acts affecting the integrity of persons, property, or facilities, or where there is a legal or judicial requirement to retain them.
